The felines...

Well the cat brothers have officially been here in our house, members of our family for a week now…
They are of course, adorable…but we’ve also started to suss out their little temperaments in the past week…

First we have Ding, our ginger tabby…officially named Schrödinger, if you all recall, but already answering to Ding, Dingy, Dinger, Mr. Schröd, and or Schrödy-cat.

He’s the bold one most days.

Is usually the first of the brothers to jump into (or on!) new situations, and bravely walked right up to Daisy the other day for a proper nose-to-nose sniff!

He’s the slightly bigger brother too, size-wise.

His purr is so funny; it’s sort of high-pitched and is the loudest when he exhales…

Then we have our little one, Bazinga…with monikers like: Zing, Zingy, and Zinger.

He was, we believe the technical runt of the litter, and though the Hubs is sure he’s growing already, he’s still pretty shrimpy!

He’s got very unique, fun ginger spots/markings, and a VERY loud, deep purr that he’ll rev up as soon as you start petting him…

He likes to nap a bit more than his brother, and nearly died of fear the other day when the Hubs turned on the vacuum…I had to come rescue him from where he was shaking and crying at the top of his lungs in the hallway outside the playroom where the dreaded device was cleaning up! Poor Zing!

Truth be told they are both pretty wild, and we’re already attempting to establish important boundaries like the paws-off-the-curtains rule…

Aside from napping and exploring their new house, their other mutual favorite activity is wrestling…with the main draw being attacking each other’s tails.

They can be SO LOUD when they’re wrestling too! They body-slam each other off furniture and race around on the second floor of the house to where the Hubs compares them to thunder!

Those are our new little boys.

Despite the wildness, we just love them already, and are so glad they’re home.  :)
